The Talbot Centre

Welcome to the talbot centre

For health professionals

At The Talbot Centre we value collaboration, growth and innovation, and are proactively working towards creating systemic change in the healthcare sector.

As part of our commitment to better healthcare for all Australians we actively support healthcare professionals across Australia through collaborating in treatment and research and through the provision of supervision, mentoring and professional development.

Refer a patient

If you have a patient who needs support, you can initiate a referral on their behalf by contacting our triage team. Alternatively you can provide the patient with our details and they can contact us directly. We’ll draw on our multidisciplinary expertise to create a practical, streamlined treatment plan. And we’ll stay in regular communication with you as their referring practitioner. If there is anything else we can do to support your work in partnership with our service, please get in touch with our Client Care Coordinator to discuss further.

Supervision, career coaching and mentoring

We know what a privilege it is to work with a highly skilled interdisciplinary professional team. We’ve learned a great deal from one another in internal case conferences and we now offer consultations to health professionals across Australia. If you’d like our input to a case or would like a second opinion on a diagnosis or treatment plan, please request a consultation.

Research

The Talbot Centre seeks to advance healthcare through research focused on clinical care and systems change. We are committed to enhancing practice-based evidence and to bridging the gap between research and clinical practice.

With this aim in mind we have integrated standard research processes into day-to-day practice. We are data driven and routinely collect clinical data to enhance individual clinical outcomes and contribute to a large research dataset.

The Talbot Centre proudly partners with research institutions and other organisations to achieve our research and clinical practice goals. If you would like to discuss how we could partner together in research, please get in touch.
