Bio

Emilia joined The Talbot Centre team in October 2023. She is passionate about supporting clients through the intake and booking process; her nurturing and comforting approach facilitates an experience of safety and being heard and understood for each person at their initial point of contact with our service. Emilia takes pride in representing and displaying The Talbot Centre’s core values including evidence-driven innovation, and authentic presence, genuine care. Emilia believes in the importance of all people having access to quality mental health suppport and demonstrates a thoughtful and empathic approach to care for all clients.

Emilia is currently studying a double degree of Psychology and Primary Education at Macquarie University. She has experience working as a dance teacher, primarily with children, and also in customer service management. Emilia values the opportunity to develop genuine and meaningful relationships with clients and to ensure that all individuals have a positive experience of accessing health services.

In her spare time, you will usually catch Emilia at dance class, hanging out with friends or family at Guzman y Gomez (having a taco or two) or listening to music.

Emilia looks forward to speaking with you and taking you through the intake process, supporting you to access the services that are the best fit for your needs and making access to care as easy as possible during what can often be challenging circumstances. Emilia is knowledgeable about mental health and our services more broadly and looks forward to empowering you with the information you need to make the best possible choices for your healthcare needs.
