Bio

Kirsten is a client-centred speech pathologist, with additional training in feeding therapy and orofacial myology. Working holistically with each client and their family, Kirsten works towards increasing functional skills and increasing their capacity in their daily lives. Kirsten works with a wide range of paediatric clients across feeding difficulties, orofacial myofunctional therapy, speech/language difficulties and early intervention.

Special Interests

  • Feeding difficulties including Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Paediatric Feeding Disorder and general feeding challenges
  • Oral motor and swallowing concerns
  • Orofacial myology
  • Paediatric Speech and Language difficulties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Speech Pathology – Australian Catholic University
  • Certified SOS Feeding Therapist – Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding
  • Orofacial Myology Accreditation – Australian Academy of Orofacial Myology
  • Hanen: ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ & ‘More Than Words’ Accreditation
