Lindsay joined The Talbot Centre in October 2017 after working in a private hospital administration role in North Sydney. She decided to bring her background in customer service and make the change to a mental health service as she wanted to offer a more personal approach to health administration. Lindsay aims to do so by building relationships with clients to best support their needs, and values contributing to the positive life changes clients can achieve by engaging with our service.
During Lindsay’s time at The Talbot Centre, she has broadened her knowledge in mental health care and is passionate about providing a high-quality level of care to clients. She is highly motivated to provide personable and detailed initial phone consultations to best support clients being booked with the most suitable clinician who can best assist with their healthcare goals, which continues to fulfil her desire to help others.
In 2019 after returning from maternity leave Lindsay was promoted to the role of Client Care Coordinator to ensure that patient-centred care is always at the forefront of our work at The Talbot Centre. This role focuses on improving the client experience of accessing and engaging with healthcare services through facilitating opportunities for client feedback, waitlist management, liaising with referrers, linking health professionals to our training and development services and overseeing our wonderful triage team.
Lindsay is a kind and calm presence at the practice and loves to make people feel comfortable. In her spare time Lindsay enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, being by the beach and has a love for home renovation and interior design.
