Natalie Trinajstic

Natalie Trinajstic

Senior Clinical Psychologist; Family Therapist

Bio

Natalie has had over 25 years of experience working therapeutically with clients. Over that time she has had the privilege to work across the life span from toddlers to older people in individual, group and family contexts. Her experience has included assessment, diagnosis, recommendations, therapy and interventions.

She began her career working with adults with complex mental health presentations in the public mental health sector. She became interested in working with young people and families and this has become an area of clinical focus, leading to completing additional studies in family therapy and working with children, young people and families in both public and private sectors. Natalie is a Christian and works with clients who wish to see a psychologist with a shared faith and world view. Natalie values and respects each person and family’s unique values and beliefs and enjoys working with clients from a wide range of diverse background.

Natalie adopts a collaborative, client centred approach, with an emphasis on helping clients gain an understanding of their story to empower them to make healthy changes in their life. She also provides supervision to clinicians using a reflective model of practise. You can read more about Natalie’s supervisory style and experience here.
