Senior Clinical Psychologist, Head of Training & Development & Board Approved Supervisor


Duska is a warm and empathic Clinical Psychologist with 15 years clinical experience, working in university, community and private practice settings. Her professional journey has been enriched by international experiences in Bosnia and Malaysia, contributing to her understanding of cross-cultural nuances within the clinical domain and passion for culturally sensitive work.

Duska has a particular passion for anxiety disorders across the lifespan, complex trauma, working with children and families and working with couples. Her expertise extends to facilitating group therapy and educational sessions, such as the Cool Kids Program, and CBT and DBT groups for adults.

Duska values a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to wellbeing and supervision. She enjoys working collaboratively with individuals to identify and address areas of therapeutic skill development, as well as personal values and goals and how these may come up for the individual in the process of case conceptualisation and treatment.

Duska is available for individual and group supervision.

Supervision Interests:

  • Creating a reflective space to explore transference and counter transference.
  • Strengthening skills and knowledge in eating disorder care.
  • Evaluating ethical and professional standards of conduct and practice.
  • Risk management.

  • Provisional Psychologists undertaking the 4+2 or 5+1 internship program.
  • Psychologists undertaking the clinical psychology registrar program as a secondary supervisor.
  • Fully Registered Psychologists and other Mental Health Professionals, for example, social workers and counsellors.
  • Healthcare professionals working with eating disorders, for example, dietitians, GPs
