Suchitra has 15 years of experience as an Accredited Practising Dietitian across multiple healthcare settings. In the last 5 years, her focus has been on working with clients experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders in the private practice space. During this time, Suchitra has been very fortunate to engage in regular supervision. This has allowed her to develop the confidence in navigating the complexity of working within this speciality.
Suchitra values her own ongoing individual supervision and uses this space to obtain specialised supervision as needed to consistently uphold the best interest of the client. She brings this outlook and personal experience to her own role as a supervisor, seeing supervision as a space that allows a clinician to unpack the work they do with their clients to obtain greater clarity in the way they can uphold their role.
It is through Suchitra’s appreciation for the positive influence supervision has had upon her own individual practice, that she comes to The Talbot Centre with a passion to support fellow health professionals working in the eating disorder space.
Supervision with Suchitra would involve working collaboratively to reflect on a variety of topics, which could range from understanding boundaries in treatment, how to work collaboratively with other team members, planning professional development and unpacking client cases that you may need some support with.
Suchitra’s supervision space is one that is confidential. She strives to provide dietitians with a space they can use to reflect on one’s approach and fosters clarity and confidence in practice.
Suchitra is available to provide both individual and group supervision
